Who are we
The FBRB or Belgian Rugby Board was founded in 1934.

Rugby in Belgium suffered a lot from World War II.

Its revival occurred at the end of the fifties and several new teams came into being especially after an International Tournament organised during Expo 58.

Since then, rugby in Belgium is regularly expanding.

What do we do
In addition to the national competition and the cup matches, the FBRB also organises the international matches for the National XV, U20, U19, U18, U17 and the Women's XV.

The competition consists in Senior, Junior (U19), Cadet (U17), Women's and a 7-a-side circuit.

The Seniors' competition is divided into 3 national divisions (FBRB) and 2 regional divisions (LBFR & VRB).

Every team in the Elite division has, in addition to a Reserve team and a Rugby School, which is also increasingly frequent among other clubs.

Internationally, Belgium plays in the FIRA-AER championship in group 2A and will seek to promote to group 1. The 7's take part in FIRA-AER circuit and international tournaments.

The Belgian French-speaking Rugby Board has started the "Sports and Studying"-action, which includes rugby among other sports.

The Flemish Rugby Board has started a top-class sport action.
